Record Breaking Snowfall
As of March 10, Sierra has recorded 584” just inches 16” from breaking 600”. With even more snowfall in the forecast, it is very likely Sierra will surpass the 2016/17 season securing third place in annual snowfall records- and counting.

(1st highest) 2010/2011: 763”
(2nd highest) 2005/2006: 647”
(3rd highest) 2016/2017: 625”
(4th highest- current year) 2022/2023: 621”
With an entirely new landscape and historic snowfall, this season has been nothing short of ‘one for the books’, and in many ways, is still just getting started.
