Sierra-at-Tahoe Announces Learn to Ski/Ride Day Special

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – January 5, 2019 - January is officially Learn to Ski/Ride Month, and Sierra-at-Tahoe is getting in on the action with two days of snowy fun, dedicated to getting beginners out on the slopes.

On January 18 and January 25, Sierra will be offering a Learn to Ski/Ride Day special for adults and young adults. For only $79, beginners will get a lesson, rentals and limited-access lift ticket. Availability is limited, so guests will need to book ahead of time online to secure their spot.

“At Sierra-at-Tahoe, we truly believe that skiing and snowboarding is for everyone, and our Learn to Ski/Ride Day is a great way to support that,” says General Manager John Rice. “We want to make it as easy as possible for beginners to learn the sport, and to have an incredible experience on the mountain.”

Sierra-at-Tahoe has long been recognized as the place to learn. Easy Street, Sierra's lauded beginner terrain, is the perfect learning playground. With two dedicated beginner conveyor lifts, and gently banked terrain, Sierra's SMART TERRAIN® program is designed to take guests through the fundamentals of skiing and riding so they feel confident on our green circle terrain and creates an environment where beginner skiers and snowboarders feel comfortable learning new skills.
