World Para Boardercross Competition

Sierra has upgraded from North American Cups to World Cup Level!  Come witness an amazing event with nationally ranked athletes.  This event will prepare athletes for the 2017 World Para Snowboard Championships in Canada the following week. 

Competitors register for the event through Tahoe Adaptive Comp Center.  A registration meeting will take place Monday night, and every night following throughout the competition.  Athletes + Coaches should already be informed on location + time. Please contact Brent Kuemmerle with any questions regarding registration. 

Monday, January 23rd: Registration during the evening @ hotel.

Tuesday, January 24th: Practice Day. DELAYED START.  Adaptive athletes will be able to purchase an adaptive pass in our ticket office.  This will give lift access for the entire competition. 

Wednesday, January 25th: NorAm Competition. Chairlift will start spinning at 9AM.  Competitors should head up Grandview, the competition will take place on our Smokey Boardercross Course with El Dorado as the comp. lift.  Awards will take place in the Solstice Plaza 30 minutes following completion of the race. 

Thursday, January 26th: World Cup Competition. Same protocol as the Noram Competition, however, the course will be changed to World Cup Level standards.

Friday, January 27th: World Cup Competition.  Same protocol as the day before.
