April 9, 2022 - April 10, 2022 All Day Event

To pay homage to our history while setting our sights on the future, we are OPENING the resort for ONE WEEKEND ONLY on April 9-10 2022, to reflect and reconnect — together with your fellow Sierra family members. Share in the experience of what makes this place so truly unique + special with live music all weekend, competitions, giveaways + so much more. Subaru WinterFest will kick off the weekend celebration on Saturday followed by Vans METHODOLOGY on Sunday to round out the fun. After a year of unforeseen events and unknown obstacles, we are ecstatic to welcome passholders, ticket holders, and all those who love Sierra back to the place #WherePlayReignsFree.

We are setting our sights on a full opening next winter, as skiing and riding will be very limited throughout the weekend, but smiles, high fives + good vibes will be in abundance and that is truly what this anniversary event is all about!

With a little luck, sunshine will be on tap with spring conditions + a chance to see the mountain for the first time, so grab your favorite Sierra swag, carpool with your crew and come catch some special celebratory turns with us as we toast to 75 Years of Sierra. We’ll see you there!

Tickets will be available on each day of the event, parking permitting. Parking is based on mountain capacity and is on a first come-first served basis and having a valid lift product does not guarantee entrance or a parking spot. Please arrive early + carpool with your fellow Sierra Fam as we anticipate reaching capacity! 2021/22 and 2022/23 Season Passes (coming soon) will be valid for the duration of the event weekend for use.

Sat + Sun: 9:00AM to 4PM

Gates close at 6:30 PM each day. No overnight camping permitted.

Please note: *Late season conditions + off-trail fire obstacles exist, please stay on open trails ONLY. Watch for unmarked obstacles. Active trail repair is in process throughout the resort, please abide by all closures

Open Amenities

• Limited retail items available from Sierra Mt. Sports
• Enjoy Sierra favorites + new items at eateries and pop-up bars on Solstice Plaza
• The Season Pass office will be available to help with all your product needs
• Fast pass Season Passes will be available for use on Easy Rider Express

Amenities Not Available

• Ski and Snowboard Rentals will not be available, please plan on renting from one of our partners in South Lake Tahoe or on your drive to the resort. Rental Season Passes will not be available
• Ski + Snowboard Repairs will not be available so wax your gear before heading up
• Preferred parking + parking season passes will not be available for use as this is a special event weekend
• Ski + Ride School for lessons will not be offered during this event weekend
• BFF tickets will not be available, please have your riding buddy purchase their tickets online or the day of the event if available (same price :)
• Blizzard Mountain tubing, snow play, and snowshoe trails will be closed.
