Learn to Ski/Ride Fridays

February 7, 2020 - February 28, 2020
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

February is officially Learn to Ski/Ride Month, and Sierra-at-Tahoe is getting in on the action with three days of snowy fun, dedicated to getting beginners out on the slopes. Whether you're learning, need a refresher or if you’re confident in your current abilities, maybe consider expanding your horizons + take a lesson in something you haven’t tried. (If you ski, try snowboarding. If you snowboard, try skiing.)

This special Learn to Ski/Ride Day event is for ages 13+ for only $79 on February 7th, 14th + 28th! Beginners will get a lesson*, rentals and limited-access lift ticket. Availability is limited, so guests will need to book ahead of time online to secure their spot .

*This Learn to Ski/Ride event package has two lesson options. Lessons start at 10am and 1pm for both skiers and snowboarders. Simply choose if you want to "Learn to Ride" (aka snowboard) or "Learn to Ski" and which lesson time you prefer and you'll be on the hill before you know it.

If you didn't know, Sierra-at-Tahoe has long been recognized as the place to learn. Easy Street, Sierra's lauded beginner terrain, is the perfect learning playground. With two dedicated beginner conveyor lifts, and gently banked terrain, Sierra's SMART TERRAIN® program is designed to take guests through the fundamentals of skiing and riding so they feel confident on our green circle terrain and creates an environment where beginner skiers and snowboarders feel comfortable learning new skills.

Speaking of, our Ski and Snowboard School can show you how to turn toe-side, heel-side and everything in between. If this sounds foreign to you, then this is the perfect event to attend. Plus, Sierra is definitely the place to learn, so if you have a New Years resolution to get outside more, look no further than a lesson on the slopes.
