Cubbie Program Lessons (Ages 3)
Ability Level: Beginner
Age Range: 3
Our NEW “Cubbie” Program is for 3-year-old children who are ready for an introduction to either skiing or snowboarding. The cubbies will spend 2+ hours of the day outside playing and being introduced to the beginning elements of either skiing or snowboarding. They will then return to the daycare where they will spend the remainder of their day participating in fun activities.
*This program was originally part of our Wild Mountain Discovery Program that has now been refined to meet the specialized needs of 3 year olds.
Wild Mountain is the place for your children to explore Sierra's winter wonderland! From Adventure Zones to terrain parks, your children will have tons to cheer about. Our instructors have the training, personality and patience to get kids out on the slopes and keep them smiling. Our programs are categorized by age and ability level to ensure your kids get the most out of their mountain experience!
Lesson Details, Itinerary + Important Info
The Cubbie program is aimed at 3 year old children. In order to help develop their mountain skills and get the most enjoyment out of their skiing/snowboarding experience, the lesson combines off and on snow activities geared towards helping children understand the fundamentals and discover a passion for the sport.
After the cubbies finish their time outside playing and being introduced to the beginning elements of either skiing or snowboarding, they will return to the Daycare. While at the Daycare, children will participate in a variety of fun and stimulating preschool activities. Children will stay busy exploring art projects and construction toys, plus music, dance, and story activities. Young children will love our outside activities too, including adventure walks, climbing tunnels, snow paint, and lots of toys. After lunch, the children will be given the opportunity to rest or take a nap if needed during our quiet time.
