Private lessons are a great way to get started on the slopes or to elevate your child’s skiing and riding to the next level. This program is set up and is dedicated for the child aged 4-12-years-old to take a lesson with their parent. The parent and child will get tips and directions on how to teach the child to have fun and the techniques of skiing or snowboarding. The instructor will give feedback on the children and give recommendations and teaching games and where to go during and after the lesson.
The parent is required to be with the child the entire duration of the private lesson. The parent will be there to assist the child with any of their needs. A Parent or an Adult from the household is required to ride the chairlift with up to three children aged 4-to-12 in the Teach Your Tyke Private Lesson. You can have up to 6 people in the lesson including Adults. The adult This is a 2-hour lesson product. This lesson does not include lift tickets or ski or snowboard gear. *Please note a reservation request and private lessons are subject to instructor availability. Family Private Lessons
Want to share a memorable private snow sliding experience with the whole family, including your child? You can add multiple people, including kids or adults (ages 7 and up) for a customized lesson that is suited for the best learning (and bonding) experience for your family's ability level.
Adaptive Lessons

Reservations
Reservations will be taken for 3-hour and full day private lessons. 2-hour private lesson reservations are taken for Early Bird privates only. Lessons are subject to instructor availability.

Things to Know
- Please note that lessons are subject to selling out. We strongly recommended you make them at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.
- We recommend you arrive one hour before your lesson time to allow for ample time for the check-in and rental process.
- Dress appropriately for the weather. Layers are best.
- Be sure you have eye protection (goggles for snowy days and sunglasses for sunny days).
- Hats, gloves, sunscreen and other items you might forget are available at the Sierra Mt. Sports Shop .
- Ski pants and helmet rentals are available at the mountain.
- Cancellation Policy : Non-Refundable Non-Transferable.
