Think Appearance

If you look good, you feel good. Creating thoughtful and meaningful interactions is what Sierra Resort is all about, which is why it is important for our staff to have a clean and neat appearance. Wearing the appropriate uniform helps our guests identify us as helpful and knowledgeable staff. Human Resources or your department supervisor will distribute the appropriate uniform based on the position you were hired for. In cases where employees are not supplied a full company uniform, they will be expected to conform to grooming standards and dress appropriately for the job. We take pride in wearing our Sierra Resort uniform and it is your responsibility to keep your uniform clean and wrinkle-free.

Outdoor uniforms will be issued to the appropriate staff by the Human Resource team. However, employees can wear their own black pants. Pants must be in good condition. We do not allow excessively faded, tight, frayed, unhemmed, or patched pants. Fitted or relaxed fit pants are acceptable, but baggy pants that expose undergarments are not permitted. Employees are not allowed to expose their mid-drifts or undergarments at any time.

When weather and job conditions allow, men and women may wear shorts and women may wear skirts. Shorts and skirts must be of an appropriate length.  We do not allow skirts or shorts to be excessively short, tight, baggy, faded, frayed, unhemmed or patched. Please ask your supervisor for specifics.

Only company logo hats should be worn while on duty during operating season. Hats with logos or written statements other than Sierra Resort may not be worn. A hat may or may not be issued as part of your uniform depending on your position.
