Sierra Resort Athletes Dominate Winter Dew Tour

The podium is becoming a familiar place for Sierra Resort athletes. This past weekend two of Sierra's own took home hardware in Breckenridge at the Winter Dew Tour. Jamie Anderson and Maddie Bowman both threw down and made Sierra Resort proud.

Picking up where she left off last season, Jamie Anderson, took first place in Woman's Slopestyle and blew away the rest of the field. Anderson’s run included a half cab tail press on the tier drop box, a gap to tailslide to fake on the kink rail, a cab 540, a frontside 720, a backside tailslide to fakie on the rainbow box, a switch back 540 then into a powered out landing on a backside 540. That run earned her a 96 and Dew Tour first place. Anderson shared the podium with Spencer O'Brein and Enni Rukajarvi.

Jamie with her hardwear!

Coming off a first place at The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series, Maddie Bowman used that momentum to put together a solid run and take home second place in Women's Superpipe. Bowman impressed all her competitors with two 900's in one run. Something none of the other ladies are doing.

Yea Maddie! 2 Comps, 2 Podiums!

Hannah Teter also competed this weekend and put down a solid run however failed to make finals. Overall, it was a great weekend for the ladies, and the entire Sierra Resort family is proud of their results!
