Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort Snowball Fight: A Dodgeball Tournament

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – October 31, 2013 – With winter right around the corner Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort is excited to generate early season stoke and support the local community with the second annual Sierra Snowball Fight: A Dodgeball Tournament at Steamers Bar and Grill on November 14, 2013. Sierra Resort fans and season passholders will be able dodge, dive, dip, duck and dodge while helping support the local community.  Sierra Resort is happy to continue their longstanding commitment to the community and share their excitement for the upcoming 2013-14 season.

“Part of our role as members of the Lake Tahoe community and as global citizens is finding ways to give back throughout the season. We look for ways to make meaningful contributions, support our guests and employees, and have fun while we are at it,” commented John Rice, General Manager of Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort.

Guests can get in the spirit of winter and join other members of the community in a “Snowball Fight”. The Sierra Snowball Fight will use the classic childhood game, dodgeball, to reconnect powder hounds and celebrate the upcoming winter before the lifts start spinning.

This is an all ages event and everyone is welcome so come cheer on the competitors and compete in a variety of quirky games; everyone has a chance to walk away with some swag. The event will take place at Steamers Bar and Grill and starts at 7 p.m. Steamers will be serving up drink specials and food to keep party goers refueled for their next game, and live music will round out the night.

Grab five friends today and start training to be crowned Snowball Champions. Team space is limited so sign up early by calling 530.543.3139. Join the Sierra family and get ready to dodgeball!
