Holiday Hot Laps At Sierra
Rumplemintz by the fire, hot laps with loved ones + a white Christmas in the forecast—there’s plenty to be thankful for this holiday season! Whether you want to work on your killer snow dance with some live music on your ride break or become the star of the Après ski scene by rocking your ugliest sweater, Sierra’s helping you get in to the holiday spirit with a bundle of fun events the whole family can enjoy.
Friday the 23rd + Saturday the 24th our beloved General Manager John Rice will be reading a few of his favorite Christmas tales from 9:00 – 10:00am in Mama’s Kitchen. We’ll be serving fresh + delicious waffles for the kiddos from 9:00 – 9:45am, while John will delight their ears with a Holiday tale from 9:15 – 9:30am. Drop the groms off for breakfast with JR while you head to the ticket window to set up your day, and start your weekend creating some holiday memories at your home away from home (Sierra, duh)!
Once you’ve had your fill of fresh pow on Friday, head into the pub for live music by Sierra fam favorite Patrick Walsh! He’ll be putting the tunes in your ear from 1:30 – 4:30pm, with happy hour starting at 3:00pm. Make the most of happy hour and utilize our complimentary shuttle, your personal chauffeur from South Shore straight to the slopes (or pub—we don’t know your life)!
The Pub is also the place to be Saturday the 24th while we host our traditional Apres Ugly Sweater Contest! Word on the street is that extra points are awarded if you bust out some killer dance moves to keep the snow a flowin’! Prizes will be awarded to the ugliest sweater and runner up for two age groups: 21+ and 21 and under (just cuz they can’t drink doesn’t mean they don’t know how to party!). The Johnny Gold Trio will keep the holiday vibes going with live jams from 2:00 - 5:00pm.
After spending Christmas Eve trying to explain to your relatives that you’re single by choice while not overdoing it on the eggnog, treat yo’ self with some Christmas day hot laps! Keep an eye out on the hill for Santa Sunday the 25th, because word on the street is he’ll be shredding Sierra to celebrate yet another successful Christmas hot lap across the globe.
