Perfecting The Half Pipe
As of today, Sierra has reached over 300 inches of snowfall, more than doubling the snowfall total from last season! Since El Nino decided to deliver, Sierra is happy to announce that this season we are bringing back our award-winning Half Pipe! Our amazing park crew has been working on the pipe for the past week, and although they took a break this weekend to play in the pow (can you blame them?) the boys are planning on cutting the half pipe this coming week once the weather clears up!
Athletes Maddie Bowman and Kyle Smaine grew up riding Sierra, so you know our Half Pipe is too legit to quit if these guys call it home. As a matter of fact, they both have been crushing it this week at the Winter X Games ! Not only have our athletes been riding the Pipe since they were wee lads, our crew has been cutting pipes and taking names since a young age too!
