SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – March 3, 2012 – On Sunday, March 4, 2012 Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort will host a group of twenty individuals from the Reno/Sparks Adolescent Boy’s Center and provide them with a full day of skiing or riding and rentals. The Reno/Sparks Adolescent Boy’s Center is a rehabilitation center where kids are transformed into young men and contributing members of society. Sierra Resort is proud to partner with Teen Challenge and the Reno/Sparks Adolescent Boy’s Center providing a powerful experience supporting their goals.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – February 17, 2012 – Families, friends, Star Wars fans and snowboarders gathered today at Sierra-At-Tahoe Resort for the official kick-off of the BurtonStar WarsTM Experience. In partnership with Burton Snowboards and Lucasfilm Ltd., the newest Burton Riglet Park is a one-of-a-kind snowboarding experience that uses iconic Star Wars themes and characters to introduce children ages 3-6 years old to the sport of snowboarding.

Sierra is proud to announce that three of their team athletes have pre-qualified for the iconic freestyle skiing and snowboarding event in Aspen, CO.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Jan. 19, 2012 – Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort has joined forces with The National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) for National Safety Week to educate skiers, riders and employees about the importance of safety on the slopes. Throughout the week of January 14-21, 2012 Sierra has hosted fun activities, giveaways, and discounts on helmets and other safety equipment.
