Adult Ski & Snowboard School

Please note that the Learn to Ride Center will be closing on March 31, 2008 .  Lesson packages can be purchased at the Ski and Snowboard Rentals or Vertical Plus/Season Pass office. 

Beginners

Learn to Ski/Ride

Learn to Ski/Ride Packages include two hour lessons, equipment rentals and limited access lift ticket (Easy Rider chair). All day lesson only packages also available.

SkI/Ride Guarantee (First Timers Only)

At Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort, the instructors are so confident in their students that they invented the Ski/Ride Guarantee. Offered to first timers, the guarantee states that students will be able to ski/ride the mountain top-to-bottom on a 2.5-mile beginner run called Sugar n’ Spice, enjoying incredible views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountain range, after three lessons or the fourth lesson is free. Ski/Ride Guarantee includes limited lift tickets for the first two days, full-mountain access lift ticket on the third day, equipment rentals and two-hour group lesson. Days one, two and three do not need to be consecutive. For ages 13 and above.

Intermediate or advanced ski/ride package

Sierra Resort understands that progressing to the next level is just as important as learning how to ski, which is why for as low as $30* a day you can improve your skiing skills with Sierra Resort’s More Terrain and All Terrain 3-paks.  Lessons last for 2 hours.

$99 Lesson Season Pass

Those who want to dramatically improve their skiing and/or riding technique should take advantage of the Limitless Lesson Season Pass for $99. Valid for unlimited adult intermediate/advanced class lessons, this pass allows guests to take as many lessons from our certified ski instructors as they choose and watch their skills progress throughout the season.

Limitless lessons are for intermediate or above skiers/snowboarders ages 13+.  Pass is valid any day, non-holiday.  Limited to 1 lesson per day.
