Sierra Teams

Sierra Resort offers a comprehensive line-up of Team programs for skiers and riders age 8 through 17 who want to develop and test their skills on the mountain.

This season, there are three programs to choose from:

1. *NEW* The Development Team is designed for upper intermediate and advanced skiers only ages 8 to 17 who are honing their skills and have an interest in competing but aren’t necessarily ready for the time commitment that being part of a Competition Team requires. Members of the Development Team can train with the other Alpine teams any 20 days during the season. The cost is $699 and includes a season pass.
   
   
2. The Full Competition Team trains five days a week for a total of 400 hours and is $1,650 including a season pass
   
   
3. The Weekend Competition Team trains on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for a total of 300 hours and is $1,350 including a season pass.

The Competition Teams are designed for upper intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders ages 8 through 17 who are interested in training and competing against their peers.

Good To Know

• Participation in competitions is not mandatory
• All teams are coached by PSIA certified instructors (or international equivalent) who are trained to coach competitive skiers and riders
• Each program is approximately 18 weeks long
• A 10% discount will be give to each child within the same family after the first child is registered
• Tuition does not include membership in Far West/USSA/USASA, race fees, travel costs or lift tickets at other resorts
• Coaches travel to events when 5+ athletes are participating
