SIERRA SKI AND SNOWBOARD SCHOOL

Pre-Registered Groups Program - Itinerary for children aged 6 and under

 

 

8am – 8:45am  Registration

  • Group members meet with the group leader at the Aspen Café located in the Main Lodge.
  • Group members do not need to stop by the Wild Mountain ski school building at this point.

 

Lesson Ticket

  • All children will receive a single lesson & lift ticket upon which parents should write the following information:
    • The child’s first and last name
    • Emergency contact telephone number
    • Any allergies and/or dietary requirements
  • The parent/guardian should then remove the white ‘pickup slip’ from the base of the ticket. This pickup slip must be presented when the child is picked up.

 

Rental/Release of Liability (ROL) form

 

9:15 am Drop Off

  • Children up to 6 years old are dropped off with their lesson ticket and their Rental/ROL form in front of the Wild Mountain building. 
  • Equipment is provided by Wild Mountain.

 

9:15 - 10:00 am Lesson Preparation

  • During this period all children are fitted with equipment, sorted into classes and partake in indoor activities such as arts & crafts, games and coloring.  This helps them get comfortable in their new environment and to introduce the sport in a fun and exciting way.

 

10:00 am Lessons Begin

  • Lessons include a combination of indoor and on the snow ski/snowboard related activities continuing their adventure by introducing the physical aspects of the sport.
  • Children with prior on snow experience are assessed and higher level classes will head out to explore the mountain.
  • Throughout the morning, snacks and adequate break time is included to keep kids interested and energized.

 

12:00 pm Pick Up for Morning Lessons Only

  • If your child is enrolled in a morning lesson, pick-up is at the Wooden Arch behind the Wild Mountain building.

 

12:00 – 1:00 pm Lunch Time

 

 

3:30 pm Pick Up Time

  • Children in Full Day and Afternoon lessons are ready for pick up in the Corral behind the big Sierra sign. Your child's instructor will be available should you have any questions.
