Jamie is truly on fire this season. She's been named Rider of the Year by both TransWorld SNOWboarding and Snowboarder Magazines. Jamie is also sitting pretty as the number one female in the Swatch Ticket to Ride Tour. Jamie's biggest and latest is her crowning as the Women's Champion for the Burton Global Open Series . This global series with year round stops sees some of the highest levels of competitions. Congrats Jamie!

There are a ton of resorts around Lake Tahoe, why do you call Sierra-at-Tahoe home? I grew up in Meyers and Sierra is so close. As a kid, I started riding because my sisters did. We rode together and chose Sierra because it’s the best!
So then what’s your favorite type of day at Sierra? Blue-bird pow day!
How does being a Sierra-at-Tahoe local help your riding? Just being able to ride at Sierra when ever I can and feeling so comfortable there- it makes all the difference.
You travel a ton- what’s your most memorable global excursion? Japan, the snow is great and so is the food.
What do you think of contests? Do you prefer to film? I just like to snowboard, so pretty much anything- film or contest. I just have fun!
