SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Dec. 14, 2006 – Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort introduced a new central reservations program this season that gives guests one-stop vacation planning with E-Ticketing for the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. In an effort to provide value and convenience to guests looking for lodging accommodations when they ski or ride at Sierra™ Resort, guests can now reserve lodging, lift ticket, car and air packages online at SierraAtTahoe.com.
Through a new online booking engine, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort guests can now choose from a wide variety of South Shore lodging properties for lift ticket packages as low as $74 per person (mid-week, one-day lift ticket package, two adults.*). Lodging partners include intimate places to stay such as the Forest Suites Resort, as well as the exciting nightlife atmosphere at Harrah's Casino Resort.
In addition, guests can make car and air reservations as they build their own custom package online. Results are competitive with major brand-name online vacation planning web sites.
To add air, a guest can customize their package using the online airline search feature. By choosing dates and arrival/departure airports, results are shown for the best rates and fewest connections offered by major airlines including American and United.
For car rentals, the car search tool pulls the best rates from a nationwide search, showing results for Enterprise, Alamo, National, Budget, Hertz, Avis, Dollar and Thrifty.
At anytime during operating hours, the online guest can call and speak to an agent who can assist with the online booking or handle the entire reservation.
