Closing Day & Customer Appreciation
Date: April 20, 2009
|
Tear. Looks like we have to say "until next year" and wait out summer until Old Man Winter comes out from hibernation. But not so fast! We still have one more day!
We will uphold our 15-year tradition by hosting “Customer Appreciation Day” on the final day of winter operations for the season, April 20, 2008. Skiers and riders of all ages can purchase a lift ticket for $20 and bid farewell to Sierra™ Resort until the snow flies next season.
We proudly offer the latest equipment for your skiing and snowboarding pleasure. On our last day of operations all rentals will be offered at afternoon rates as a thanks to you our loyal Sierra friends!
Sierra Resort will operate a limited number of lifts from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Last call at the Sierra Pub will be at 2:45 p.m., in time for the cessation of all winter operations at 3:00 p.m. All guests will be parking in the Coyote and Deer lots (C & D lots). There will be no shuttle services.
All of the proceeds raised from the day’s lift ticket sales will be donated to sponsor local sports teams including South Lake Tahoe High School’s baseball, softball, basketball and football teams, as well as High Sierra Soccer League, to name a few.
Please use good judgment and exhibit safe behavior. We will have law enforcement on site to ensure everyone is participating in a fun and safe way for all. Remember, respect gets respect.
