Established in 1993, Sierra-at-Tahoe has been at the helm of terrain park design + progression for over 20 years. What was once known as “The Circuit,” the Sierra Playgrounds are now made up of 8 nationally recognized parks that have been featured in countless film segments and magazines. A breeding ground for Olympians with a strong focus on progression, we provide playful and diverse features for all ability levels.

The Progression Park

The Progression Park is ideal for beginners and freestyle first-timers. As part of Sierra's Smart Terrain on Easy Street, this park is carefully designed with low-to-the-ground boxes and small jumps to build confidence + balance. The traffic in this park moves at a pace that's perfect for learning.

Aspen West Boarder X Park

A full-time boardercross course, Apen is fun for both learning + advanced skiers and riders, whether you want to race your friends or get comfortable making small airs. Filled with rollers and speedy berms, this frontside playground will unleash your inner speed demon.

Snowshoe

Upper Snowshoe Park is filled from start to finish with playful, small to medium, jumps, rollers, hips, jibs + more. Whatever line you choose to ride, this park is the next step in learning jump flow, grabs, and small spins. The jump line continues well down the run, allowing for plenty of hits to dial in your new tricks.

Upper Main

The training ground for the Sierra Comp Teams, Upper Main typically consists of expertly maintained small to medium jibs leading up to a small to medium jump line. This is an ideal place to hone in your skills before taking them to Sierra’s larger parks.

Broadway Park

Like an audience? Broadway Park is the place to see and be seen, visible from both Easy Rider Express and The Plaza. Typically boasting a medium jump line, small jumps, and small to medium jibs, Broadway Park is a staple of the Sierra Playgrounds. Often one of Sierra’s first parks to open for the season and home to many USASA competitions and events, there’s plenty of fun to be had here.

Bashful

A spring staple, Bashful is known for being one longggg, amazing ride. This park is packed with medium to large jump lines, hips, rails, boxes, butter pads, pole jams, creeper towers...there are features everywhere!

The Alley

One of the first parks ever built in the region, The Alley is Sierra’s bread and butter. Featuring Short Stuff—it’s own, devoted, lift—this south-facing park is designed for putting on a show and getting the shot with tons of medium to large jibs and triple jump line. Coupled with park crew's jams rocking on the speakers, The Alley is a freestyle stomping ground with terrain and a chill vibe that builds your trick repertoire.

Halfpipe

The only halfpipe in South Lake Tahoe, Sierra’s pipe has been the training grounds for Olympians and World Champs. Sometimes built as a “modified pipe” with different shapes incorporated to allow for more creativity, you’re sure to have fun once you drop in. Rock Garden is a devoted chair lift for the pipe so it's easy to put a ton of laps under your feet.
